Catholic Life at St. Augustine’s
We are created in the image of God.
We strive to love and serve Him
in all we do.
With the Gospel Values at the centre of our school,
we aim to value, welcome, understand and support others.
We do this in partnership with family and parish
The Catholic life of the school is rich in opportunities for children to encounter God and to deepen their relationship with Him as a loving, compassionate Father. We enable children to come to know and love God through traditional and informal prayer; through liturgies and Religious Education lessons, where children receive direct teaching of the faith; through the relationships and support for each other that children, staff and parents enjoy within the school community.

Jubilee 2025
Pope Francis has chosen the theme “Pilgrims of Hope” for this Jubilee Year. This special year is a time to remember the biblical Jubilee of Israel, where people rested from work, debts were
forgiven, and God called everyone to reconcile with each other and with Him.
Living as Pilgrims of Hope
We are all on a journey to grow closer to the Lord. The Jubilee Year offers many ways to deepen
our faith and strengthen our relationship with God. Let’s embrace the spirit of Jubilee through
prayer and share the hope it brings.
In line with the Year of Jubilee, we will all become Pilgrims of Hope. With the personal encounter with Christ, Bishop Patrick encourages each of us to hear and respond to his invitation to be a Disciple, to follow him more closely, and to seek to serve him generously in our daily lives.
